Rising country-pop artist Allison Asarch proudly announces the release of her inspiring new single, "Better with Time," now available on all streaming platforms. Co-written with Paige Ruderman and Casey McMillan, the song is an anthem of resilience and a tribute to the strength of women who continue to thrive despite the odds.
"Better with Time" was inspired by a pivotal moment in Asarch’s career. At the age of 27, she faced rejection from a representative of a major management company who dismissed her potential, claiming, “Women don’t make it in country music after 29.” Two years later, a different scout from the same company offered her a renewed opportunity, but Asarch declined, standing firm in her values.
“This industry changes daily, and if you still believe age is a factor in music, you’re dating yourself,” Asarch says. “I’ve been surrounded by so many badass women in this industry who truly get better with time. Writing this song with Casey and Paige felt natural. Once we had the idea, we ran with it and never looked back. This song is one of my favorites I’ve ever written, and I’m incredibly proud of it.”
As Asarch sings, “Like childhood homes, hand-me-down guitars / Vintage boots and classic cars / Might not be new, but they’re better used,” the song beautifully weaves nostalgia and growth into a powerful narrative. This anthem celebrates the belief that, just like these cherished objects, people too become richer, deeper, and more meaningful with time.
With its heartfelt lyrics, uplifting melody, and poignant message, "Better with Time" is poised to resonate with audiences, particularly women who have been underestimated or told their dreams had an expiration date.
