DIVINE CHOCOLATE PROTEIN PANCAKES
INGREDIENTS
-100g Spelt flour
*a whole wheat flour made from the entire grain, bran, endosperm, germ, and all; -30g Chocolate protein powder -1 Tbsp baking powder -1 Tbsp chia seeds -240ml almond milk -Coconut oil, for frying -60g Divine Chocolate’s 70% Dark Chocolate with Mint Crisp, chopped
-Toppings: grated coconut, yoghurt, fresh berries, syrup, chopped Divine Chocolate
METHOD
STEP 1
Whisk together the spelt flour, protein powder, baking powder, chia seeds and 30g finely chopped Divine Chocolate bar. Pour in the almond milk and whisk to a thick and smooth batter. Leave to rest for 5 minutes.
STEP 2
Heat a little coconut oil in a non-stick frying pan and add 1 tbsp of batter per pancake. Cook for a few minutes until golden brown, carefully flip and cook on the second side. Make sure they’re cooked through and firm to touch.
STEP 3
Serve warm topped with remaining chopped (*and melted if you prefer) Divine 70% Dark Chocolate with Mint Crisp, grated coconut, yoghurt, fresh berries, syrup and remaining chopped Divine 70% Dark Chocolate with Mint Crisp.
