House Whiskey Sets Date for Drink It Off EP; Four-Song Set To Hit April 16

Power trio House Whiskey used last year’s touring shutdown to hone their sound and hit the studio, and now they are set to release their new EP Drink It Off on April 16, 2021. The collection features tracks bathed in neon, soaked in 90-proof and bound to turn a heartache into a honky tonk party. Written and recorded during quarantine, the four-song set expands on the radio ready Country Rock sound set in motion with their previous releases.

The group (Jesse Murphy, Wally Montgomery and Michael Wilkes) worked with GRAMMY-nominated producer/songwriter Brett Beavers as well as red hot writer/producer Ben Stennis. The rowdy title track recalls getting over a broken heart and bouncing back from rock bottom with a drink and a smile.

Drink It Off Track Listing:

2. Drink It Off (Jesse Murphy, Martin McDaniel, Michael Wilkes)*

3. Edge Of My Barstool (Brett Beavers, Wally Montgomery, Jesse Murphy, Michael Wilkes)*

About House Whiskey:

House Whiskey is a rising arena-ready, country-rock band made up of Jesse Murphy, Wally Montgomery and Michael Wilkes. Their sound features three-part harmony, double lead guitars, and a whole lot of attitude. After spending several years working together in Nashville as songwriters, they have taken their songs to the road steadily building a fan base across the country with their distinct brand of country-rock. They have performed at the CMA Fest, the Houston Livestock Rodeo and opened for acts like The Charlie Daniels Band, David Lee Murphy, Tracy Byrd, Frank Foster and the rock band Lit.

Their approach to music is to write songs that are authentic to them and their roots. Wilkes and Montgomery both came up playing in rock bands in Georgia, while Murphy, a Nashville TN native, was introduced to country music at an early age by his father, hit-maker David Lee Murphy. For several years they have been writing together to develop their brand of country-rock. House Whiskey’s singles “Tomorrow We Ride,” “Drifter and Gypsy,” “I Quit Countin’,” “Holding On To You” and “Cause I Like To Party” are available on all streaming platforms.
