"All four of these songs help tell an important part of my story," said Rager. "From musical influences to personal experiences, you’re gonna learn a lot about me from listening to this EP."
After being raised in the rural community of Loganville, Georgia (also home to Tyler Hubbard and Jon Langston), Rager knew that he had to lean into his songwriting to help his chances in Music City. During one of Rager’s performances, Barry Williams (Jason Aldean’s father) immediately heard the talent coming from the then teenager and knew he needed to work with him. After that, Williams took Rager under his wing and began mentoring the sprightly young guitar-slinger. Once signing with Riser House in 2018, he was able to begin releasing music and establishing his sound in the country music landscape.
Recently, Rager’s earned support spots for Kane Brown, Old Dominion, Justin Moore, Trace Adkins, Randy Houser, Jon Langston, Rodney Atkins and many more. Nationwide performances have helped send his stream count well past 52 million. Rager is due to release his upcoming project in early 2020.
